Massachusetts Fallen Firefighters Memorial

In honor of all Massachusetts firefighters, this monumental sculpture is on the grounds of the Massachusetts State House in Boston. The firefighters were designed in a circular composition and are in action and working as a team. They are installed on a polished, black granite Maltese Cross that is surrounded by The Ring of Honor. There is a series of granite pavers inscribed with the names of deceased firefighters who proudly served their communities. The Memorial includes walkways, gardens, a water feature engraved with the Firefighter’s Prayer, and a ceremonial bell. Annual services are held at the Memorial on September 11th.
