Worcester Polytechnic Institute Senior Class of 2016 Gift

Worcester Polytechnic Institute – Worcester, MA

This piece was made as a gift of the class of 2016 for the school. The granite base features an engraving of the iconic Boynton and Washburn towers on campus that represent the WPI Plan, Theory and Practice, respectively, as well as the names of the donors. The bronze book mounted on top of the stone honors the late Dean Emeritus William R. Grogan (WPI Class of 1946) with two quotes by him inscribed into the pages.
