This sculpture, located at the New England Organ Bank, is a tribute to organ donors and their families. The young tree emerging from the tree stump symbolizes the continuation of life, and the butterflies are symbolic of rebirth. The site, designed in collaboration with landscape architect Mark Flannery, allows visitors to reflect and remember.
