Norwood Firefighters Memorial

This 14-foot-high Memorial was dedicated in 2001 at the Highland Cemetery in Norwood, MA. It is a tribute to Norwood firefighters past, present, and future. The Department affectionately named the statue “Big Jake,” and he stands high, serene, determined, and dedicated. The Mountain Rose granite base is inscribed with the Firefighter’s Prayer. Annual services are held at the site.
