Massachusetts Korean War Veterans Memorial

About

Charlestown, MA

1992

This Monument is located at the historic Charlestown Navy Yard, the same National Park where the U.S.S. Constitution (Old Ironsides) is docked. The 9-foot-high bronze soldier represents “The Forgotten War.” He is alone at night, on sentry duty, staring off into the distance. The icy Korean wind is biting at his back. Events and memorials are held at the site.
