Babson College Beaver Sculpture

Babson College’s athletic department approached us desiring to create a naturalistic rendition of their mascot, the beaver. The outcome is the larger-than-life beaver that sits on a log and has an expression aggressive enough to convey the determination and strength of the school’s student-athletes. The beaver and log were cast in bronze, and the granite base has both geometric shapes and ones made to look like natural rocks, providing the animal with a small environment. The sculpture is located in Lamere Plaza outside the Recreation and Athletics Complex.
